EVE BY BOZ IS NOT JUST A BRAND
It’s a movement that celebrates the beauty, resilience, and diversity of Black women and women of color worldwide.
Eve by Boz is inspired by YOU: the Eve in Genesis, the Eve in scientific academia, and the countless “Eves” who are strong, badass women who defy expectations. Black women and women of color are often expected to be tough, even when we want softness; our trends inspire global cultures, yet we are seldom recognized as beauty icons. We’re asked to do the hard work, yet we make it look easy. The history of humanity itself originates in Africa, and our diaspora carries this legacy worldwide.
The mission with Eve by Boz is to reclaim that narrative and shine a light on our power. Eve by Boz has been created to revolutionize the hair extension industry with a unique approach that blends cultural authenticity and premium quality. The brand aims to make a difference in a sector that acutely affects Black women and women of color but has long overlooked our needs. While some might see it as superficial, it is serious for those of us who spend our hard earned money and received so little in return.
Despite Black women and women of color making up 80% of the buying power, we have no say in how these products are constructed and we spend an inordinate amount of time customizing products that should be made with us in mind in the first place.
The brand is committed to empowering Black women and women of color by offering wigs, bundles, and closures which are sourced from Asia, created in Ghana, and distributed globally. Additionally, the specially formulated hair care products harness the power of indigenous ingredients like baobab oil, moringa, shea butter, palm kernel oil, and rosehip. Infused into every strand of hair, these natural oils transform raw extensions into luxurious, manageable, and long-lasting products. Adding to the sensory experience, the hair care line has captivating fragrances that keep hair smelling fresh for weeks giving them a richness that reflects our origins.

I’m Bozoma Saint John, God created me, and I’ve created Eve by Boz… to reclaim Eden for Black women and women of color. My journey to this moment has been paved with 25 years in business leadership roles at global giants like Netflix, Uber, Apple, and Pepsi. Along the way, I became a Hall of Fame marketer and was named #1 on Forbes list. Harvard even wrote a case study on my leadership. Aside from my business acumen, I’ve been celebrated for my fashion and hairstyles— and believe me, I don’t take it lightly! But beyond the accolades and magazine covers, my drive has always been fueled by showing up authentically—unapologetically bold, proud, and deeply connected to my African heritage.
While my career has allowed me to impact major industries, I now see an opportunity to make a difference in a sector that acutely affects Black women and women of color but has long overlooked our needs: the hair extension industry. While some might see it as superficial, I take it very seriously. Much of the human hair used to create these products comes from the Asia-Pacific region, with little attention to our specific desires or cultural connection. Despite Black women and women of color making up 80% of the buying power, we have no say in how these products are constructed and we spend an inordinate amount of time customizing products that should be made with us in mind in the first place.
Eve by Boz was born to revolutionize this industry, empowering Black women and women of color with products that honor our roots. With my expertise in business and innovation, combined with my melanated DNA, I’ve built this company with intentionality, crafted with love and produced with premium quality.
The Eve by Boz wigs, bundles, and closures are sourced from Asia, created in Ghana, and distributed globally. Beyond manufacturing, my vision is to reshape the way Black women and women of color are seen in the beauty industry. My inspiration comes from the source: the Eve in Genesis, the Eve in scientific academia, and the countless “Eves” I see every day—strong, badass women who defy expectations. Black women and women of color have often been expected to be tough, even when we want softness; our trends inspire global culture, yet we’re seldom recognized as beauty icons. We’re asked to do the hard work, yet we make it look easy. The history of humanity itself originates in Africa, and our diaspora carries this legacy worldwide. As the eldest daughter of Ghanaian immigrants and mother to a brilliant young woman, I feel emboldened to tell our story. I’m not rewriting history; I’m reclaiming it. This is a time for growth—a chance to sow new seeds for Black women and women of color; and blossom in the center of our own luxurious garden. Here, Eve is revered!
